A Renewed Perspective (ARP) was born in 2012 from an immense love for organizing and space planning but even more-so from a greater passion for helping others.  Its mission is much like that of a counselor who helps people see past their surface issues to the deeper problems in order to live a more peaceful, healthier and productive life: We are here to help people see past the clutter and chaos that disrupts everyday life leaving you frantic, frustrated and stressed out to a space and place that is relaxing, clean and just makes sense.  More times than not the individual eye or thought process just cannot see past the surface issue of a poorly planned space, system or disorganization because it is so overwhelming one cannot even conceive starting; They simply don’t know where to begin.  Sometimes it just takes a different perspective and new methods that fit into an individual’s lifestyle to get them on the track to easy living and that’s where we come in.


Jamie, the founder and owner, takes a systematic approach to each situation that identifies an individual’s needs and wants then providing solutions and methods to help organize and maintain them. While she feels that there are basic rules of thumb that work for all cases the bigger belief is that it is important to be sensitive to a client’s wishes and do what is comfortable and workable for them: What works for one or many does not necessarily work for all.  Aware that money is hard earned she also strives to provide the best solutions at the least cost necessary and is familiar to working with budgets of all sizes.  Carrying a fervor and joy for helping others she jokingly refers to her passion for organizing as a “sickness”, because who else would get excited about being in a mess”! 


Her interest in interior decorating and rejuvenating people’s spaces began in high school and as these projects were worked on the need for organizing became more apparent. Having a natural talent and ability for organizing and space planning she not only lives it out in her daily life but has helped many individuals and non-profits to get organized, function more efficiently and/or spruce up a space just for the delight of the task. After years of assisting others, a concentrated effort helping her church after it’s relocation, and at the encouragement of many Jamie decided to join her experience as a professional, her passion for helping others, and her love for decorating and organizing into her own company, A Renewed Perspective.


The story, however, does not end there!  After relocating to Michigan and re-establishing as ARP Organizing & More, her husband Paul decided to join the business bringing with him talents that offered a wider variety of value added services. Paul, A Journeyman Machinist by trade, is a precision craftsman in everything that he puts his hand to with a high attention to detail. He began learning and applying home improvement skills in

2005 while renovating and restoring his own home and has been helping people with their own projects ever since. He takes pride in a job well done, but what he does not take are shortcuts!


We are here to help you organize, simplify and transform your living or work spaces.  Whether you need a more efficient office, upgraded interiors, want to redecorate; or perhaps you are just tired of the frantic mornings, frustration of trying to find what you need and coming home to a smothered or outdated space, we are here for you.

Organizing & Space Planning


We offer organizing and/or space planning services for residential and businesses alike.  Any room or space you can think of we do! Bedrooms, bathrooms, living and dining spaces, playrooms, kitchens, closets, basements, barns, garages, crafting areas, work spaces, and offices.  We can work right along with you or solo helping you sort, purge, and downsize creating a space you can breathe in again. If you need a dumpster scheduled, donations dropped off or a sale organized we can do that too!



Paper Management & File Systems


There is nothing worse than losing an important document all together or having to sift through piles or an unorganized file system to find what you need. A home or business does not run efficiently on a poor system. We can take your paper mountains and stuffed drawers and turn them into a functioning, efficient file system; whether you prefer to keep hard copies or prefer a new soft copy system. Likewise we can create an efficient soft copy system for your computer files and your email in-boxes. No more hours lost searching!



Handyman Services


If you need it done chances are we can do it! Paul is a “Jack of all trades” when it comes to fixing, installing, building, maintaining, troubleshooting, planting, etc... Most consultations can be done via phone, however some may need to be seen on-site for a more accurate estimate. If we can't do it we probably know someone who can!



Interior Decorating & Renovating


Whether you want to do a little sprucing up by adding some new décor, curtains, accent painting or cabinet hardware, or you want to "go big" and install new flooring, back splashes, trim, etc. give us a call. Whether you are upgrading for your own pleasure, or to sell your home, we are here to meet your interior home improvement needs.



Home Staging


When you are selling, people want to see the space they will be purchasing and the possibilities therein. A clean, well arranged home tends to sell faster than a cluttered, messy space. Unlike a larger service that may

require furniture & décor rental we offer a generally more affordable solution. Our staging services use what is already in your home. We can offer an in home consultation earmarking items that you should remove from your spaces and advise on furniture placement, or we can do the work for you: whatever suits your budget. We can also do light staging if that is preferred. While you are at it you may also like to utilize our handyman or renovating services for any repairs or sprucing up of your home before it is listed.
